The Hudson Agency – Chicago Style

Case #1: from the case files of the Hudson Detective Agency

Private Eye, Carl Danby tries to stay out of the limelight. Ever since the detective injured his knee on the job, the big boss himself has hinted at Danby’s retirement.

Then the Agency is hired by successful Chicago businessman, Benjamin Porter who has recently been involved in a series of life-threatening accidents. Convinced he’s being targeted for death, Porter points the finger at someone close to him as the culprit.

Danby is assigned the new case. Saddled with the Agency’s newest recruit, Elmo Clark, the veteran detective delves into the situation. It’s up to Danby to investigate the murder attempts and figure out what’s going on before the next accident proves fatal.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Dubrovnik was one of the two favorite stops on our cruise. (Mykonos being the other)

Yet another place that was heavily influenced by Venitians.  The old town was a virtual fortress; surrounded by water and a drawbridge that closed every night.

Definitely not built on flat ground!
