Then the Agency is hired by successful Chicago businessman, Benjamin Porter who has recently been involved in a series of life-threatening accidents. Convinced he’s being targeted for death, Porter points the finger at someone close to him as the culprit.

Danby is assigned the new case. Saddled with the Agency’s newest recruit, Elmo Clark, the veteran detective delves into the situation. It’s up to Danby to investigate the murder attempts and figure out what’s going on before the next accident proves fatal.
