I never thought about it, but since Venice is an island (with no cars) the Italians have to do everything by water. I snapped many shots of the various first responders via waterway!
That is so cool! You never do think about how other people live, do you? I mean, really think it through, like how life would be on a daily basis under these conditions.
That's true. Like how there are small bridges (steps - not flat) all over the place to connect the streets where the water constantly cuts through the town. Now think about wheelchair access & baby strollers!
